Sara Johnson, CPA
Sara joined Howard and Co, LLP in 2006. She was previously employed by a family-owned real estate company in Dallas where she worked for 12 years. This company outsourced their tax department to a big four firm in 2001 where Sara continued to manage the engagement which included preparation and supervision of federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, individuals, trusts, corporations and foundations. Her duties also included consulting with the tax director, assistance with planning and projections and working with state and Internal Revenue Service auditors.
Her prior experience includes seven years with two local accounting firms – one in Dallas and another in Houston. In addition, she was controller for two Dallas companies.
Sara graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
