Leisha Gardner, CPA/PFS
Leisha Gardner joined Howard & Co., LLP in December 2011 with 15 years of experience in public accounting. Leisha has a background in both private industry as well as public accounting. Her public accounting experience includes tax, financial planning, and assurance services. Since 2000, her primary focus has been individual taxation, tax planning and related compliance. Her experience also includes corporate, partnership and fiduciary taxation.
Prior to joining the firm, Leisha worked for a Richardson based CPA firm for over five years focusing on tax planning and compliance for both federal and states. Prior to coming to Dallas she worked for a California CPA firm with an emphasis on closely held companies, tax planning and personal service corporations.
Leisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University in California. She is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in California and Texas. She also holds a Personal Financial Specialist designation and has a Personal Financial Planning certificate from UCLA.
