Kent Birdsong, CPA
Kent joined the firm in January 2000 with a focus on tax planning and compliance solutions for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. His responsibilities also include tax research and planning as well as other financial and accounting matters. Kent enjoys working together with clients on challenging circumstances to come up with problem-solving solutions.
With his many years of public accounting experience, Kent offers a broad-based range of business knowledge related to complex tax compliance issues in the areas of real estate, oil and gas, and employee benefits.
Kent believes his role as an advisor is best accomplished by partnering with clients and understanding the needs of each individual. Developing close relationships with clients facilitates his goal of meeting those needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Kent worked with two other Dallas-area accounting firms, where he was responsible for tax, auditing, and accounting matters for a variety of client types. Kent graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler, and is active in several professional organizations.
