Erin Marie Phillips, CPA
Erin joined Howard & Co., LLP in November 2011 bringing with her over 15 years of public accounting experience as well as several years in industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Erin worked with two long-established CPA firms in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas gaining valuable experience from special situations arising from its border city location. Erin began her CPA career in accounting, tax, and audit before starting a focus in taxation. Her varied tax experience includes multi-state, individual, non-profit, trust, partnership, and corporate returns. Erin's early career included financial accounting for a corporate office with several franchised restaurants, bank trust accounting, and bookkeeping with a manufacturing company in the Texarkana area.
Erin has served as the President for the Texarkana Chapter of CPAs of the Texas and Arkansas Societies of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA, and ASCPA. Erin has also been featured in Today's CPA magazine.
Erin is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas and Arkansas. She received both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M in Texarkana.
