Diane E. Stokes, CPA
Diane joined the firm in 1984. She is primarily responsible for tax and estate planning as well as tax compliance and review activities. She advises clients on methods of structuring business transactions for the best tax advantages, protecting the assets of individuals through the use of trusts and limited partnerships, and developing estate plans to maximize the assets available for heirs.
Diane has extensive experience with all forms of tax compliance, including preparation and review of corporate, partnership, fiduciary, non-profit and individual tax returns. She frequently serves as intermediary between clients and the Internal Revenue Service.
Prior to joining the firm, Diane worked in three other accounting firms. Her years in accounting have allowed her to develop expertise across the spectrum of industries: individuals and corporations in real estate, health care, oil and gas, insurance and construction, among others.
Diane is certified in Texas. She is a graduate of Texas A & M University, magna cum laude, and is active in several professional organizations.
